Yass Swimming Club is a welcoming and fun club for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Whether you're just starting out, training more seriously, looking to compete or preparing for school swimming carnivals, our club offers a supportive and friendly environment where everyone can thrive.

Affiliated with Swimming NSW, Yass Swimming Club members have the opportunity to participate in a range of swimming meets, from development level carnivals to qualifying events. Dedicated swimmers can work towards representing the club at the NSW Country Swimming Championships, NSW State Swimming and even National level events.

Our Club Nights, scheduled four times throughout the summer season, are a fantastic way for swimmers to gain race experience, track their progress with timed races and have fun with fellow members. These inclusive nights allow swimmers to earn points towards end-of-season perpetual trophies, which are awarded at our celebratory presentation event.

​

Based at the Yass Olympic Memorial Pool, our swimming season runs from November to March. Swimmers can join our squad training sessions and participate in our regular clinics. Training is offered three days per week in November and December (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday), expanding to four days per week from January to March (Monday to Thursday). With this comprehensive training schedule, our members have ample opportunities to improve their skills and enjoy time in the pool.

In addition to club nights, our membership includes access to swimming clinics held throughout the season. Over the past two seasons, our members have enjoyed special clinics led by guest coaches and Olympic swimmers. These clinics are designed to inspire and improve swimmers at all levels.

Our club has grown substantially in the last year and we are proud of our wonderful community of passionate swimmers. The Yass Swimming Club’s dedicated committee works tirelessly to create meaningful opportunities for all our members, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
